Best of Show Award

We're proud to announce that one of our images won "Best of Show" at a recent photography competition.

About the Owners

During a summer trip to northern California, retired teachers Ken and Carol Nyborg visited a live butterfly enclosure.

Ken had a new SLR camera and spent hours photographing everything he saw that day. He used his computer to turn the images that he had captured into cards for some family members as so many people do. What he didn't expect was how his cards would be received.

Family members and friends who had seen the cards started calling asking if they could buy some for their friends, and their friends' friends. That was the beginning of KCards of California.

Carol was often frustrated trying to write on other commercial cards that use cheap or glossy paper. For this reason, Ken and Carol selected a high quality paper for KCards that would enable people to write a message using any type of writing instrument.

Today-- better cameras, better lenses, better photo software, more patience, more experimenting, more travel, a keener eye, and much appreciated artistic suggestions have resulted in a beautiful card selection.

The exciting part of the KCards of California adventure is that the web catalogue is not static. New photographs are continually being added to the collection to offer a greater selection to our customers.
